Frame it when you cannot.

Press ⌥ Z and drag over text in an image, video, or app interface. macOS Vision reads it locally; QuipJot translates it in place.

How it works

No new workflow to learn.

    Install and grant access

    Allow Accessibility access the first time QuipJot opens.

    Select text

    Select normally in any app. The toolbar appears nearby.

    Translate

    Read the result in place, then copy, hear, or save it.

  4. ⌥Z
    When text is not selectable

    Drag over the area to capture and translate it with OCR.
